Welcome to this week's RPDC Blow Your Horn Weekly Communication. It is December and that means time for Christmas Gatherings with friends, family and like minded Conservatives! Tomorrow night, December 9th is RPDC's formal Christmas Party at Jake's Supper Club with Social Hour starting at 5 pm and at 6 pm will be dinner. Then on Thursday, December 18th instead of our usual General Membership Meeting we will be having a informal RPDC Christmas Gathering potluck style along with the White Elephant Gift Exchange which is always hilarious and fun. In between the 9th and the 18th are many Holiday Craft Fairs, Christmas Parades and Christmas Shopping to partake of. The most important part of this Season though is in remembering the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ who was born in a humble manger filling the earth with love, light, hope and peace. He is the reason for this joyful season!
Here is the latest scoop on what's happening with the issue of the data center development that is currently in pause status. Last Monday night, December 1st at the City Council meeting the City Council introduced Proposed Ordinance 2026-01, an Ordinance amending portions of Title 10 of the City Code with respect to warehousing definition, data center definition and creation of I-4 Data Center Industrial District in which Balloonist Attorney, Douglas Buck was against the down zoning of this proposed ordinance when he spoke during public comments. The proposed Ordinance will now be presented to the Plan Commission TONIGHT, December 8th at 7 pm in the City Council Chamber at City Hall on the corner of Wilson Ave and 9th Street East, Menomonie. The Plan Commission will review, discuss with possible action of recommendation. There will be a resolution available for signature at 6:30 pm before the Plan Commission commences at 7 pm. It is highly recommended you at least observe what will be discussed in this particular ordinance that Balloonist LLC very much dislikes.
If you stop by headquarters during the Christmas season there will be available nomination papers for Conservative Appeals Judge, Maria Lazar who is running for the Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice seat. Rebecca Bradley will not be seeking reelection in 2026. Also check out our MAGA merchandise along with our 250th Anniversary as a nation attire for your Christmas gifts list.
Have a wonderful week!
God Bless You and God Bless America!
