How Can We Preserve Our Farmland and Rural Communities

Republican Party of Dunn County

Welcome to this week's RPDC Blow Your Horn Weekly Communication.   Many of you, like me have become concerned about how our farmland and rural communities are being pushed into implementing big scale wind and solar farms by Big Energy.  We are seeing it happening in our neighboring county, St. Croix County with the 10 Mile Creek Solar Project.  The citizens in St. Croix County continue to push back on the massive scale solar farm project.  There is also concern by our other neighboring county in Eau Claire of possible large scale wind and solar projects being pushed to populate precious farmland and rural communities with wind turbines and solar panels.  We are already experiencing the push in Dunn County of the development of a data center that also strips of our natural resources and farmland along with lack of transparency due to Non Disclosure Agreement between the city administrator and a Big Tech company.

With those above mentioned concerns being addressed, how can we preserve our farmland and rural communities from being destroyed by Big Energy and Big Tech companies?  Christian Estenson, Regional Political Director - Western Wisconsin Region will be addressing those concerns and how we can take action to preserve our farmlands and natural resources we cherish in our rural communities in a informational meeting TONIGHT, Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 at the Eau Claire Florian Gardens which starts at 5:30 pm.  If you are interested in learning more saving our farmland you can RSVP by calling Christina at (612) 716-1729.  There will be dinner served free of charge along with great resources and information in preserving our agricultural heritage in Western Wisconsin. I will be attending this informational meeting and I hope you can join me.

If you cannot attend the above informational meeting. then please come to our next General Membership Meeting on Thursday, November 20th, 2025 which starts at 6:30 pm at RPDC Headquarters and I can fill you in of what transpired at tonight's informational meeting regarding the push for wind and solar farms by Big Energy and how we can take necessary steps to preserve our farmlands and rural communities in Western Wisconsin.

Have a wonderful week and good luck to all the hunters as gun hunting season begins this Saturday in the State of Wisconsin.

God Bless You and God Bless America!
