3rd District Caucus in Onalaska
The Republican Party of Dunn County showed up with numbers and enthusiasm Saturday! We were represented by 26 delegates, tying home-county La Crosse for top attendance.
The 3rd District voted to officially endorse Derrick Van Orden in his reelection bid for U.S. Congress this fall.
We heard from Eric Hovde who is running for Tammy Baldwin's US Senate seat. Trump endorsed Hovde in that race in an April 2 announcement. (You can find a list of all Trump's endorsements here.)
Ballotpedia has a lengthy list of Republicans officially running for Baldwin's senate seat. In Dunn County we are most familiar with Rejani Raveendran, who spoke at our Lincoln Day Dinner and who also spoke for a pause in refugee resettlement at a St. Croix County Board meeting during public comment.
Stacey Klein, who spoke at our January county caucus, has left the US Senate race and is, instead, running for Wisconsin State Senate in the La Crosse area.
Some Pictures from Caucus

If you like hanging out with political leaders, caucus is the place to be.

Foreground, above, is the Chair of the Republican Party of Dunn County, Pat Breslin, and his lovely wife, Carol. In the background (far left blue shirt) is WI State Senator Pat Testin, who gave us the great quote "Don't Minnesota our Wisconsin!" (And the people say, "AMEN!")
Thanks to Josie and Carol for sharing their pictures with "the Radar."

Election Results
So how did that election turn out? Click to see our Spring Election Results page that will continue to be updated, hopefully, as the dust settles more.
Many of our suggested county board candidates were successful. Some of our people ran in very difficult districts and came up short.
RPDC deeply appreciates the effort and commitment of ALL the candidates and volunteers.
Thank you to each and every one of YOU for doing your part, big or small!
Congratulations to board members . . .
- District 1 - Tim Lauffer - NEW
- District 2 - Pat Breslin - returning
- District 6 - Dustin Shackleton - NEW
- District 8 - Luke Wilsey - returning
- District 10 - Don Gjestson - NEW
- District 24 - Randy Prochnow - returning
- District 25 - Tom Gilbert - returning
- District 26 - Larry Bjork - returning
- District 28 - Gordon Wolf - NEW
Both of the election integrity referendums passed county- and state-wide! RPDC thanks all the Wisconsin legislators who put this on the ballot and worked for its passage. Using the constitutional path kept these very important issues from being vetoed and ending up in the governor's trash bin.

Are you missing your Republican friends after all that recent election fun? Join the Republican Women group for coffee and chat every Tuesday morning at headquarters from 9 - 11.
It wasn't all Republican women this Tuesday, though. Tony and Tom enjoyed a visit and a laugh. Tom was already planning the delicious brats he would be making for movie night.
